Oct 18 — Early Voting
First day in-person early voting is allowed under state law, and first day mailed absentee ballots can be sent. Ballots may not be ready by this date. Details on when early voting will begin will be posted closer to the election.
Oct 23 — Registration
Voter pre-registration deadline. If you need to register in Johnson County or update your address after this date, you will need to follow Election Day Registration procedures in order to vote in this election.
This is also the deadline to request a mailed absentee ballot. We must have your Absentee Ballot Request form in our hands by 5 PM. In-person early voting will still be available after this date.
Oct 25 — Debate
A debate among the North Liberty city council candidates is scheduled for October 25 at the North Liberty council chamber. More details will be posted here as they become available.
Nov 6 — Early Voting Ends
Last day of in-person early voting.
Nov 7 — Election Day
Election Day. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Voters must vote at their assigned polling place. Mailed absentee ballots must be received at our office before polls close at 8 p.m.
